Dunmore Road Abingdon
We have been instructed by David Wilson Homes to carry out the new S278 works at the above. The works include a alterations to the existing roundabout on the junction of Dunmore Road, Twelve Acre Drive and Oxford Road. The works will involve new foul and storm drainage, a dedicated left slip road onto London Road, resurfacing and new street lighting
The works are programmed to be commence in late July 2023 and are expected to take approximately a year to complete
Traffic Management will be undertaken to minimise delays with the use of water filled barriers as far as possible. However to minimise delays and potential tailbacks to the A34, some works will require partial closures of roads and some full road closures. These traffic management arrangements have ben consulted with OCC over the last nine months.
