278 Junction Widening
We confirm that we have been appointed by Bovis Homes to carry out the S278 Roadworks at the above. These works include the realignment of the carriageway at the junction of Priestley Road.
Associated Street Lighting and Street Furniture will be installed.
These works are part of the new Housing Development.
It is envisaged that the works will be completed within six weeks but may be subject to change due to factors beyond our collective control.
Advanced signing will be in place prior to the start date to inform the passing public of the impending works.
Due to the sensitivity of the road, works on the carriageway will be carried out off peak.
Works on the Carriageway will commence on 21st August 2017, using a set of Three Way Temporary Traffic Lights. This will be manned during the day, to keep queuing traffic to a minimum.
