S278 Roundabout
We confirm that we have been appointed by Taylor Wimpey West London to carry out the S278 Roadworks at the above. These works include the realignment of the carriageway and construction of a new roundabout.
Associated Street Lighting and Street Furniture will be installed.
These works are part of the new Housing Development.
It is envisaged that the works will be completed within twelve weeks but may be subject to change due to factors beyond our collective control.
Advanced signing will be in place prior to the start date to inform the passing public of the impending works.
Due to the complexity of the remaining works, with 5 exits from the roundabout a series of road closures is planned. This will require the closure of Daws Lea with the junction of Daws Hill. A diversion will be in place. Temporary traffic lights will be used on Daws Hill and these will be manned during the working day to aid traffic flow.
